When Lara agreed to come to Canada, she hadn’t planned to be alone. But plans change and now she’s cold, lonely, and halfway around the world. And although the snow seems to bite at her skin, the thought of returning to her coastal hometown hurts more than the frostbite threatening her little toe.

But when the two end up snowed in to Lara’s tiny cabin before the snowboarding season has even begun, the pair forge an unlikely friendship. And as the winter unfolds and their feelings grow, they’re faced with the realisation that their relationship has a finite end date.
